AGLCS Series: GRP Local Control Station and Switches
Appleton’s AGLCS Series is a range of Ex de local and motor control devices for Zones 1, 2 and 21,22. From standalone local control stations to custom-built control systems the AGLCS range from Appleton will be locally designed and assembled from May 2022 within Koenigs Ex Systems Australian workshop.
Product Description
The AGLCS Series of GRP IP66 local control stations ranges from standard push buttons, selector switches, and pilot lights for visual assurance to customised solutions to meet industry needs. The AGLCS Series is suitable for highly corrosive environments with chemicals, moisture or salt-water in the surrounding area.

Features include:
- Static-resistant black glass-reinforced polyester enclosure; IP66 rating allows the enclosure to be installed in either indoor or outdoor environments
- Designed for application with voltage ratings up to 5,500V AC and rated current up to 1,500A
- Multiple enclosure sizes for different control, indicator or selector configurations
- Utilises factory Ex e, Ex de operators including push buttons, illuminated push buttons, ammeter, selector switches, control and load break switches, contact blocks, LED pilot lights, and terminal blocks. Using high intensity LED pilot lights which have a lifetime of 100,000 hour
- Operators and contact blocks are properly spaced to provide easy and ample space for wiring. Up to 3 contact blocks per actuator can be used. IEC rated operating voltage 500V AC – 110V DC
- Components are DIN rail mounted which is held securely in place during operation and easily removed for service. Option for panel mount available
- Captive, corrosion-resistant stainless steel cover screws
- Multiple wiring or cable termination with a wide selection of cable glands for the entries at four sides of the enclosure
